I don’t know if Amazon sweetened the deal for the NFL or if the league just decided they had paid their dues, but they are getting some absolute bangers for Thursday Night Football.
Last week was the Ravens beating the Bengals 35-34 on a missed 2-point conversation. This week, the Commanders headed to Philly for a crucial division matchup between 7-win teams trying to take the NFC East.
These two enter the week at 5 and 6 in the power rankings, with the Commanders dropping a spot after losing to the surging Steelers. Before TNF, I thought this game would guarantee some movement in the rankings… now it depends on the teams below them.
As always, may all your teams win or have to play a Thursday Night Football game in 2021 with the streaming quality of the Tyson fight.
Seriously, I thought I was watching “Mike Tyson’s Punch Out!!“ … same pixel size and everything, But also glad Netflix decided to use boxing to sort this out before they start streaming football.
NFL Power Rankings, Week 11
Unfortunately, no analysis or podcast this week. Many apologies to my fan. Over the past 5 days, I’ve had a washer and dryer replaced, a roof replaced, and the naughty bits of two puppies removed. They’re brother and sister, so we had to do it early to avoid and uncle daddies in the house.
So I’m calling this my dark week.
Hit me in the comments section if you disagree with these and we’ll chat! Or if you agree. But social media has decreed agreement to be boring, so come and be edgy!
*Note: Rankings and records are current from before Thursday Night’s game, which will only affect rankings for week 12*
- Kansas City Chiefs (9-0)
- Detroit Lions (8-1)
- Buffalo Bills (8-2)
- Baltimore Ravens (7-3)
- Philadelphia Eagles (7-2)
- Washington Commanders (7-3)
- Minnesota Vikings (7-2)
- Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2)
- San Francisco 49ers (5-4)
- Green Bay Packers (6-3)

I did something I never do this week, I went against the Chiefs. But I’m lapping the field in our football picks pool and I figured, if not this game, when?
